What a crazy busy day! Chris and Maggie celebrated Easter with their father in the morning. We picked them up around 11:30 and headed off to my sisters. They kids had a blast playing with their cousins. It was fun catching up with everyone! It is amazing how BIG the kids are all getting! After lunch, our traditional picture.. and egg hunt - we headed out to Albion to see our other halves! Another egg hunt and more candy.. a great dinner and some Wii... we were EXHAUSTED! Time seems to be going so fast!

Here's what happened in March!
OK.. I am getting a little nervous!
I honestly feel like I just got done updating February and now I am filling you in on March and it is the second week in April! We are down to 2 months before the wedding and I am certain it is going to FLY BY!
Well here we go...
I honestly feel like I just got done updating February and now I am filling you in on March and it is the second week in April! We are down to 2 months before the wedding and I am certain it is going to FLY BY!
Well here we go...
- Early this month we had dinner with Scott and Anne at Sticky lips.. looking back now that feels like MONTHS ago. It was a nice night, I don't talk to my brother nearly as much as I wish I could so I really enjoyed the evening. After dinner we went back to their house to see their new puppy! What a sweetie she is, I believe she is a mipin - miniature pincher! A definite mama's pup! She just loves Annie to bits. Scott was feeling a little left out.. we heard later in the month that they ended up adopting her brother.. Lenna and Lenny. Maybe Scott feels the score is even now!
- My birthday was March 7th. A very very busy day. I was full blown in the middle of a nasty chest cold.. but it didn't hold us back from going to the camper show in Syracuse with our "bff's" (LOLOL) Jason and Stacy. We had a blast laughing and dreaming about buying one of those ridiculous "campers" to share and live in.. considering we would have to sell both our houses to afford one! Kevin and I agreed "that's" not camping, we enjoy our camper way too much to trade in for a palace on wheels! We hit the outlet mall on our way home for some shopping. We had about an hour home before we headed out to the Stiemer's. They cooked an awesome birthday dinner and spent a little time at the Stiemer bar. We had a great night... always do with Joe and Steph! Last weekend they told us that they gave in and bought that jacuzzi they were talking about!! Very exciting! Looking forward to our next Stiemer excursion!
- Kevin's parent came over for an afternoon to celebrate my birthday. Kevin made an amazing corned beef dinner and Roger made me the most AMAZING strawberry cake.. YUM YUM YUM... I LOVED IT!
- We had Maggie's teacher conference. She is doing amazing in 4th grade. She is in a 7th grade reading level and is just soaring in school. The kids are looking forward to school getting out. Hard to believe it is only 2 months away!
- Miss Bella had her "baby maker" (as Maggie says) taken out.. she survived and came home HIGH AS A KITE.. cracked us up! She is now going on.. 8 months old! She is the easiest dog.
- Kevin and the guys started the kitchen / meeting hall renovations at the firehouse.. they seem to be there more than not these days and their hard work is showing! It is coming together nice. Kevin is so excited and proud to see the teamwork!
- On the 21st we had an overnight at the Seneca Niagara Casino with Jason and Stacy to celebrate both mine and Kevin's birthday. Oh my gosh we had a blast! Laughing the whole weekend. From chips-a-hoy to hide and seek to What's your like?.. it was the best weekend.
- We picked up Maggie's costumes for her dance recital.. and she had her pictures.. hard to believe how fast this year is going.
- The 28th was Kevin's birthday, we were busy at the Chili Fire Department Banquet. We spent last weekend in Warsaw Roger made Kevin's favorite carrot cake and we went out to breakfast Sunday morning to celebrate.. We certainly werent expecting 2 inches of snow!
- We bought our wedding bands, and our cake topper came in! It is so cute.. a fireman and a bride. I love it!
- We received our "paper work" from the pastor.... time to put together the ceremony details!
- We had a new furnace put in last weekend and we feel the difference already!
- We all passed back and forth a nice cold that pretty much lingered with us the whole month.. poor Christopher had strep.
- Kevin finally finished the deck on the front.. we just need to stain it.
Busy busy.. We will be celebrating Maggie's birthday in April, and hopefully we will get some nicer weather to start working on the house.. lots to do! And....... we are looking forward to CAMPING SEASON starting!

Things that happened in February!
OMG! Where did February go! It flew by way too fast. I am not so sure what kind of list I can come up with here... I will give it a try.
- Miss Bella is doing wonderful.. she is really a very easy dog!
- We completely changed our wedding plans! LOL. We decided that having the "pretty ceremony" that I wanted and the picnic bbq reception was an impossible combination. We opted for an intimate ceremony of 30 family and a couple close friends on June 6th, with an all out day of fun picnicking on August 15th with anyone and everyone would be the perfect mix. I couldn't be more relieved! The ceremony/small dinner reception will be held at the Green Lantern in Fairport in the most amazing vintage Victorian room. It just stopped us in our tracks. Just perfect! The picnic will be in Warsaw at the legion banquet hall. We are finally not stressed and very excited.
- Maggie was nominated as a school safety monitor, and is very proud of her position.
- Wrestling has finished and Chris is considering track.
- Kevin's proposed plan for a new kitchen at the firehouse was approved and construction will start this month.
- Kevin got a new Dakota extended cab truck. Fire engine red of course!
- I got a new Sonata.. and LOVE IT!
- We had another date night this month with Jason and Stacy at Famous Dave's my favorite place!
You know.. I know we were much busier.. but February went by so darn fast and honestly seemed like a stressful month.. lol.. so I cant think of anything else!
March should be a busy month.. both Kevin and I celebrate birthdays this month.. mine the 7th, Kevin's the 28th.We are headed to the Seneca Casino for an overnight to celebrate our youth with Jason and Stacy. Hopefully I will be better about updating my blog this coming month!

Our newest addition!
Bella Chandler
This is our Bella! She is a 4 1/2 month old golden hound.
She came from an Ohio shelter to the Scottsville animal hospital. We adopted her on Saturday at the PetSmart adoption fair in Henrietta. She is the sweetest calmest dog I have ever seen. She had two brothers that she left behind and is a bit lonely for them. She is getting used to us, and her new home. She is very curious about the cats, it does not however seem to be a mutual interest at this point. Her first visitors were Justin, Kristina, Liz and Josh. "Grandma and Grandpa" Chandler came right out Sunday morning excited to meet her. Right now she loves her crate, and it is not unusual to find her laying in it. She has this cute little trait... she picks up her toys and puts them in her crate. She has discovered what a chewy bone is, and loves it. She is unsure of the squeak that comes from her cow, and puppy. She has not figured out what fun you can have with a tennis ball yet. She is afraid of the stairs, and isn't fond of her leash. She does fuss or fight it.. she just sits.. and doesn't understand concept.. lol. She is a good girl at night and sleeps all the way through. Today is her first day alone at home. She loves the kids and is really a cuddler. Lay with her and rub her and she is happy. She has already added so much personality to our house. The kids did not know we were getting Bella, it was so much fun to see their reaction when they got home. We are looking forward to camping with Bella this summer, and taking her on long walks. I am pretty sure she will follow along with us.. whenever possible..

Things that happened in January....
- Chris turned 13!
- We had a blast at Kevin's brothers doing a night of fondue, playing Outburst and Wii!
- Maggie sprained her wrist at a roller skating party for school!
- Kevin got some time in plowing.
- Chris got his first pin of the season at his meet on the 21st!
- Maggie and I picked out our dresses for the wedding!
- We celebrated Stephanie Steimer's birthday with her and Joey over my homemade Alfredo and grilled chicken, with an amazing fruit torte courtesy of Danny Wegman!
- Kevin had his first solo day of pediatrician appointments, and radiology visits - Chris jammed and sprained his thumb at wrestling last week. No breaks.. all is well.
- My car decided to bust a spring, and sits in the driveway.. cause I hate it.. I will never have any luck with CARS ever.
- Kevin and I picked out our wedding bands!
- We had our "date night" with the Mulcahy's. We opted for a night in, rented movies and had Chinese take out and made icecream sundaes. IT WAS THE BEST! I even wore my pj's!! THOSE are the best get togethers with friends.. I don't care what ANYONE says!
- Aside from Kevin "dying" of a "mock" hernia, and Kelly a nasty migraine, two sprained body parts.. we have all remained healthy! Shhhh the month is not OVER yet..
- And... if all goes well this weekend we will be in Warsaw with the kids to be spoiled by Grandma and Grandpa Chandler - and hopefully a visit from Jeff, Tammy and Mason.
- Kevin.. is still alive... and tolerating us with patience and unconditional love.. LOLOL!

Here goes...
I have never "BLOGGED" before; Heather's pages make me interested in giving it a try! We are all finally settled in our new home with Kevin and life has really fallen into place. Maggie is busy with girl scouts and dance - she is taking tap, ballet and jazz this year. Chris is on the junior high modified wrestling team at Churchville Chili, and nose deep in anything that has to do with Star Wars. Kevin has been elected to another year as Battalion Chief of Co. 2. The kids and I are having fun getting involved and helping out when we can. All of you should know by know I am engaged! We are all excited.. Chris and Maggie are ready to assume their roles as Best Man and Maid of Honor! We all had a very nice Christmas, very busy. Life is GOOD!
